Kathleen Turner, the 45-year-old American film star, gave the London theater world a big surprise when she did what many women half her age would be a bit skittish to do, bare it all in front of an audience. Ms. Turner stripped down for the infamous seduction scene in the stage play, "The Graduate," something Anne Bancroft in the 1967 film chose shied away from. The London Evening Standard said Turner's nude portrayal would guarantee a box-office bonanza, much as it did Nicole Kidman's naked debut on the London stage, in "The Blue Room."
