BEADED WIRE CANDLES

Deborah Spofford has come up with this really clever idea. You take ivory-colored candles then, by using acrylic paints, copper wire, brass charms & some colored glass beads--hey presto, they are transformed into something really special; with really easy to follow step-by-step instructions, suitable for a beginner. The candles, when finished, look as if they are set in their own unique candleholders, simply achieved by painting the lower portion of the candle. The upper section of the candle, which is left in its natural ivory color, is decorated using copper wire threaded with brass charms & glass beads. The finished candles have a very "old world" look about them & are just the thing for that romantic dinner for two.
