Here is one of those rare sites that combines aesthetic appeal with intellectual substance. Loggia.com is a suite of websites and discussion forums devoted to the arts and humanities, with special emphasis on art, architecture, classical and Celtic mythology, and classical literature. Each of the component sites is notable both for high-quality content and elegant design. The forum discussions are intelligent and sophisticated. My favorite features include Loggia's links to various museum sites and current exhibitions, ready-reference definitions and descriptions, "momentary vignettes" celebrating people and events, and a beautiful selection of e-postcards. Even the banner ads can't spoil the Loggia experience. It's just gorgeous.
