Not only do these lists provide access to information in traditional academic fields, such as science and history, but also to online exhibits, schools, and interactive activities. The reference hotlist alone contains links to the New York Public Library and the New York Times Books, online general and specialized dictionaries and encyclopedias, style and grammar guides, spelling and quotation resources, time zone and metric system converters, as well as more exotic reference sources, such as Ask A Scientist or Engineer. And there’s a lot more where that came from. Click on Research-It and you can find more than you probably ever wanted to know about language tools and translators, geographical and financial information, Internet e-mail discussion groups, and even postal and shipping FAQ’s.
