Puerto Rico Day Parade

Hookt.com has the news on the Puerto Rican Day parade held June 11th in New York City. The parade drew an estimated 2 million people to the streets of Manhattan for the event. Several hip-hop artists, as well as a politicians, athletes, and actors represented to the fullest. Busta Rhymes, though not Latino, had his very own float in the parade. Whether you knew it or not, Puerto Ricans have been involved in the hip-hop game from the start. Puerto Ricans make up New York City's largest group of Latinos.
