PARGE THE UGLY OUT OF YOUR CONCRETE WALL

Bill Leonard's article in Backwoods Home Magazine goes into the nitty-gritty of "renewing" old boring concrete block walls. This article reveals not only what "parging" is, but explains how to mix it, use it, and apply it to concrete walls. He reminds us that, "What we are talking about here is covering ugly cement blocks so they will have a more aesthetically pleasing look." Can it be that simple? Yes, but he recommends practicing in small areas before you attempt a large wall. Very few sites give this much detail on simple projects. Keep this site and magazine handy.
