Top » Science Fiction & FantasyCosmic Corkscrew: Short Story OnlineSite: http://world.std.com/~mab/corkscrew.htmlScience fiction is one of the few genres which is very strongly influenced by its fans. Readers and writers meet regularly at conventions, exchange information, ideas and criticisms freely, and get to be great friends. It is also one of the few genres that occasionally writes about itself. The short story found at this web site, Michael A. Burstein's "Cosmic Corkscrew," is such a tale, and one of the best-written ones I have found. The story first appeared in Analog, in June of 1998, and is a delightful romp through some of the conundrums of time travel and the SF world itself. Fans of Isaac Asimov in particular should not miss it! Tue, 16 Nov 1999 13:35:03 -0800
