Stuck in a quandry of disappearing funds from the National Endowment for the Arts and the need to "commercialize" or take a "day job" to survive financially has led artist Ben MacNeill to dive into the world of the unthinkable. He has pioneered an innovative way of blending the sale of art into the world of business trade. By founding The Traded Art Securities Commission in a project called Artshare, MacNeill is selling STOCK in himself, and breaking ground for others in the art community looking for a viable way of marketing Arts in our ever-changing business economy.
