Great Lakes Region's Plastic Camera Photography

This rather windy (20-word title) but entertaining site is dedicated to the fuzzy images obtained by cheap, plastic cameras with such names as Holga, Diana, Dorie, Debonair, Lubitel, Banner, Snappy, and Yunon. Sections include tips, commentary, "Caption that Stinkin' Photo," and two galleries. The newest gallery of photos, posted Jan. 1 by Jackie Lund, shows images reminiscent of the turn of the century (including vignetted edges), shot with a good eye for composition and subject matter. The site's overall philosophy can be summed up by a couple statements on the opening page: "We value personal expression above all other considerations" and "Plastic Cameras are simple to use, a lot of fun, at least as good as any consumer digital camera--and way more interesting."
