SF Bibliophile Alert!

Site: http://www.sfsite.com

The SF Site bills itself as "The Home Page for Science Fiction and Fantasy"--and that's not just hyperbole. I'm always most pleased to find sites that are reader-oriented, rather than endless recitations of Star Trek statistics, and this is definitely one of the best. The SF Site has excellent book reviews, and lots of them, with enough reviewers that you'll have no trouble finding one whose tastes match your own. I highly recommend their "Best Books of 1999" listing; even though I'm a "professional reader," it cued me in to several titles I'd missed. The site also provides interviews with authors, a good conventions listing, even interesting editorials and a letters page. If you get hooked, you can get more, more, more by perusing their back issues. Don't miss the picks and pans from Wayne MacLaurin and Rodger Turner, the Siskel and Ebert of SF bibliophiles. The SF Site should be a regular stop for any book-loving Science Fiction fan.
