There are a lot of cool sites devoted to The Prisoner, Patrick McGoohan's visionary '60s series about a man trapped in a creepy English resort community called The Village. This one distinguishes itself by actually attempting to replicate the Village experience for the visitor. When you reach the main page, for instance, click on the "Look Around" link for a map of the friendly confines. Take a virtual tour of the surroundings, from the the Labour Exchange to the Advice Bureau. Each of these areas displays a photo from the series along with some imaginative interactive features. At the Chess Lawn, for example, you can click a link to play a game of online chess. At every turn you will find sound files that capture the trippy, menacing mood of the series. Be seeing you!
