New technological software has potential to write movies

A new text-to-video AI may be able to write movie scripts in the near future, reports Science Magazine.

Many artificial intelligence programs have been able to identify the context of what is going on in images and predict what will likely happen next. However, this new AI will be the first to use text to write scripts.

The software needs to be trained before it can properly executed, and there are two stages of training. After looking at a video, the AI will generate a text based on the video. Then, this text will be able to be reproduced into a new video — a means of generating movies.

There are, however, applications beyond Hollywood. For instance, self-driving cars could benefit from this innovation. By being aware of potential accidents, as this software makes possible, less accidents may occur.
