On February 21st, Uber released it’s newest ride option, Uber Express Pool. The Uber Express Pool is an update to the wildly successful ride sharing option, UberPool. The company states that their new option is the cheapest and quickest ride offered in their application.
The update works to find riders the best possible match for their rides. This means riders commutes would have more direct routes and less time in the car itself. However, users have to be willing to walk a little farther or wait a bit longer for your matched driver.
An Uber Express Pool ride is about 50{4b67ba8b923a50fd3c2d318c36d85df0f722be16ef3877469216aec8196f2e86} cheaper than an UberPool ride and a whopping 75{4b67ba8b923a50fd3c2d318c36d85df0f722be16ef3877469216aec8196f2e86} less than a traditional UberX ride.
